Michigan has many different vacation and travel destinations. Most of the destinations are on or near the 4 great lakes that create Michigan’s coast line. One of the most popular destinations is Mackinac Island which mixes old world charm with a unique landscape.

The northern portion of lower Michigan, commonly know as “Up North”, draws many family vacations to enjoy its beaches and island lakes. The upper peninsula of Michigan offers a more rugged terrain which draws many hikers and woodsman. The most northern part of Michigan, isle royal, is a unique national park which is an isolated habitat for many of the North America’s most amazing animals.
